The Hamlins of HighPoint is our first for-sale neighborhood to be built within the HighPoint Community development area. It is being built according to Traditional Neighborhood Design (TND) principles advocated by the National Town Builders  Association (NTBA) and integrates the community building work of the Institute for Community (IFC) in fostering quality neighborhood relationships.

The Hamlins at HighPoint is a neighborhood of 75 homes consisting of 61 detached single-family homes and 14 attached single-family homes on 11.65 acres of land. The home base prices range from $130,000 to $180,000 and feature floor plans ranging from 2 bedrooms and 1 ½ baths to 3 bedrooms with loft and 2 ½ baths. Each plan boasts 3 or 4 distinct exterior elevations with real wood porches, authentic colonial trim and a generous palette of siding colors to maintain a diverse and rich streetscape. All homes feature a 2 car attached garage in the rear of the home.

The HighPoint development area consists of nearly 200 acres of undeveloped land located on the west side of Weber Road spanning between Taylor and Airport Roads in Romeoville, Illinois. It is one of Chicagoland's fastest growing housing markets located just 30 miles west of downtown Chicago.

The neighborhoods within HighPoint offer rental apartments and for-sale town-homes, carriage homes, and single-family homes that appeal to all price ranges and lifestyles. Each neighborhood is planned within a 5-minute walk to the centrally located town center designed to be the hub of activities for HighPoint residents.

Residents of HighPoint and surrounding neighborhoods enjoy the convenience of two large retail shopping centers at either end of the HighPoint master plan featuring a Jewel/Osco food and pharmacy center, restaurants, and various neighborhood convenience shopping, banks and community wide services.

The town square will feature neighborhood services providing medical care, family counseling, a deli, old fashioned grocery store, barber shop, etc. This central gathering place will attract old and young alike in a park setting that showcases HighPoint's bandshell and interactive spray fountain.

Large scale lakes and ballparks are integral to HighPoint's master recreational plan. The 15 acre community sports core managed by the Romeoville recreation department features baseball diamonds, concessions, lakes and even a wetland with nature education walk. The HighPoint Community Centre features a 15 acre lake with marina, nature walks and nature preserve. Sidewalks, jogging trails and bike paths connect all areas of HighPoint for easy access.
